The book had a great premise and the story, for the most part, followed through. It gave us some good characters and a pretty interesting mystery too. However, sometimes the writing really lacked. That said, there is promise for the series to come.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. The characters were believable but not bland, and the mystery was engaging. I look forward to the next in the series.
