Very fun whodunnit. Follows the first’s story-within-a-story format with a mini third story nestled in the second as well.

I found this just as engaging as the first book - it seems to know just how much information to give you to feel like you’re making progress in the investigation without actually giving it all away.

Unlike the first book, I didn’t guess who the killer was but when the big reveal was made, I found it quite satisfying and the pieces fitting together quite nicely.

It’s a good book but once again I find the insertion of the second book in the middle very strange. It does make sense with the plot but the break in the main story is disconcerting and does make the story rather long and much harder to keep track of. I did enjoy the book though.
somewhat get the vibe of anti-sex work sentiment and anti-bdsm for the author. The homophobia of the killer does not sit well with me, it feels quite contrived and forced.
