At 581 pages I thought this was going to be long on description but it wasn’t. I read every word. It’s sensationally good. An absolute homage to and exemplar par excellence of the golden age of murder mysteries and it has a book within a book!
This book is like four stars for a real fun time, and two stars for Horowitz being pathologically obsessed with murdering gay men. Extremely bizarre. Is this a fetish???
