What is so bad about getting fake engaged to your hot, billionaire, alpha male boss? I mean, what could go wrong with that?

We first meet Rath Westin in The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister. I absolutely love the bromance between Rath and Bram. Rath had a previous relationship with his assistant which ended with him getting heartbroken. Now all broody and intense, he decides to hire Charlee because she is ballsy and can hold her own against him. He quickly realizes he is in way over his head with her. She keeps him on his toes with her quirky, colorful ways. And he can’t help but find her smart, beautiful, funny and a little bit annoying.

What started out as a perfect solution for all of Charlee’s problems, I mean why else would she drop to one knee and ask Rath, her boss, to marry her. Why would things get complicated?

Rath does everything he can to avoid the undeniable attraction that he feels towards Charlee. He refuses to fall for another assistant. The lines become blurred. Rath gets the idea to get married to Charlee in order to see Charlee’s grandma’s dream of seeing her walk down the aisle, in her dress, come true. Over time, their feelings become to strong and it quickly becomes more about a real relationship than a fake engagement.

Nobody writes rom-coms quite like Meghan Quinn. Boss Man Bridegroom is not the typical office romance between a CEO and his EA. This is one of the funniest books I have read from Meghan Quinn thus far. (I mean the David Hasselhoff, leg-humping sex dream is a cringe-worthy yet outrageously hilarious.

I just love reading [a:Meghan Quinn|7360513|Meghan Quinn|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1450582798p2/7360513.jpg] stories. I can never get enough. Just perfect in every way.

I died laughing multiple times reading this book! It’s got comedy, office romance, steamy sexy times and a hot billionaire... what’s not to love?! But honestly this was one of the best books I have ever read. If you are in need of some laughs, check out this book!

Rath

This book was so good! The author did so well portraying emotions through text. I laughed for several pages of a time. You can hear the dripping sarcasm at times. She ripped my heart out in the last chapter. I loved the dorkiness at times. Absolutely loved Boss Man Bridegroom!

This one was funny. I really enjoyed the quirky heroine.

After leaving his past girlfriend, who just so happened to his assistant, Rath has blown through assistant after assistant. Never did he expect, due to his latest assistants blunder, to be dropped into the path of the most quirky, organised, at times annoying Charlee.

Of all the female lead characters Meghan has penned, Charlee is without a doubt my favorite. She's goals. She thrives off organisation, creating her own planner is her dream job, she colour coordinates absolutely everything, but she's also fun, quirky, family oriented and 100% both stubborn and loyal.

Charlee captivated my attention from the prologue. I wanted to know what lead to her down on one knee. I needed to know if that awkwardness was more than just one moment, it is.

Don't get me wrong, Rath had his moments too. At first his broody and grumpy, yet after a while and the whole offering of a marriages of convenience whilst failing miserably to keep Charlee at arms length.

Supporting characters helped make this series. Bram and Roak are back! And their 3-way-bromance is epic. Linus is someone I hope Meghan can find a story for. And Grandma, Well Grandma was the absolute best.

Classic non-communication, but top tier grovel.

Some parts of this book were great, the humour was amazing and some of the more saucy scenes were good, but I can’t get comfortable with the boss/employee romance it makes me feel all anxious and it just feels like a massive abuse of power. Not to mention no one talks to their grandma like that, surely, it brought me right out of the story. Lotta mixed feelings on this one
