Charlee is my soul sister! She is an organization superhero. She is spunky, spirited and doesn't back down. Poor poor Rath doesn't know what hit him. He is the boss, a boss who sets out to put her in her place. Unfortunately, he's like a fish out of water. He may be a stern businessman, but he really does have a heart of gold... it just takes a lot to get it to show. This book has so much humor! I had to keep stopping to dry my eyes! There is also an emotional element that kinda slides in now and then. Its a fun story and especially fun trying to watch Rath come to grips with everything that is going on around him. This alpha is starting to crack. Such a good fun, wonderful story! Well written, as expected. Easy to read. Alternates between POV. There is some sexual content that may be deemed suitable for mature readers.

I listened to these a little backwards with Roark being first and then Bram, then Rath. I think it totally works that way though.

Anyways: this story was great! I loved seeing more of Bram and Rath’s friendship. I loved watching Rath mister stoic fall and fall HARD for Charlee.

Their breakup/time apart was so hard as Rath didn’t fully grasp the level that he had messed up and while he started to fix it with the daily texts the way he FULLY fixed it was genius!

This beautiful story was told to us by Connor Crais and Kelsey Navarro! Two of my favorites!

Well tits my furry friends, but at this point it should not surprise me when I read something from my woman crush it blows me away. Truthfully, Meghan Quinn can do no wrong with her writing style - try to convince me otherwise, I dare you. To be fair, I am not one to all go bonkers for a marriage of convenience trope, but hey, give me hot billionaire slow burn romance with some chuckles and I am all for a try. Plus this is Rath. My beloved Rath from probably my absolute favorite bromance dynamic read ever. I am all here for these snorts.

So first things first, I loved the characters. Obviously I loved Rath. I liked finally seeing this side of him more in the front space of the read. Yeah, he was always the soulmate of his best buddy Bram, but we didn't get to know him truly until now. I loved him. He was the absolute grump with a dash of control freak mannerism, especially in the work place. But when the bros were around, same old lovable, hilarious man I fell in love with back in The Secret To Dating Your Best Friends Sister. Dripping of sexy num feels

But not just him, something that I always love about Quinn's writing style is her ability to make the men likable, believable, but also the female leads. Charlee Cox, or Charlee Bag of Dicks is perfection. The stationary obsession, the bubbliness of her personality, yeah it is me. I would read something and then think back to a conference call I just had where I had everyone laughing then my husband tells me I am too chipper at six a.m. I loved Charlee. I cannot, will not say that enough. Between the word vomit, the chipper attitude, the brightness of her personality that was bleeding through each page made me fall head over heels for her.

And of course, I mentioned before, a marriage of convenience is not my go-to trope to enjoy, but this was golden. It was an exaggerated hilarious situation, yet not so crazy that it isn't unbelievable or annoying. It was great. I was beyond tickled to death by the shenanigans. Plus, it was a slow burn, it didn't just go 'snap' lets be married. There was a build, a development, a quirk to the situation that really tied it along into the perfect RomCom. Even the drama was super entertaining with a nice flow.

I mean, really, do you question my obsession? You bet your bottom dollar I am obsessed and in love, so question me not. This was a great. Really it was. Between the relatability of Charlee, her adorable quirks plus the broody Rath in all his charming grumpy pants personality, whew, when I wasn't crying until I laughed, I was swooning until I was melting on the ground. I will never get enough of Quinn's writing style in the RomCom world.
