That was fucking hilarious!!
Big fan of Charlee’s personality, I usually find over-the-top characters annoying but I was charmed from the very first chapter!

Meghan’s best book yet!
It was seriously so perfect.
I’ve never liked a heroine as much as I liked Charlee. Rath was amazing, too, Together, they were

Boss Man Bridegroom is a refreshing romance with quirky characters and humorous raunchy laugh-out-loud moments. This book features a stern boss and his adorable assistant with a colorful personality that got themselves into a marriage of convenience. This is unlike any other office romance that I read in a while, it's unique and funny and once you started, you couldn't possibly put it down. This is a standalone but also a continuance from her previous books which also features self-made billionaires who fall in love with their respective partners. As far as romantic comedy goes, Meghan delivers with precise and smart succession.

The story follows a quirky, strange Charlee Cox who lands a job as an EA to the CEO of Westin Enterprise. Her strange demeanors, uplifting and cheery outlook in life is both a distraction and a welcome surprise to her boss; Rath Westin. I honestly rarely ever meet a character like her. But she has a spirit that is quite her own, which makes her all that more lively. Meghan Quinn is able to perfectly narrates the story of how these two characters fall in love with a good sense of humor. And I love their progression from being boss and assistant to being in a fake relationship to something more serious and deeply intimate. It's a process of developing feelings for someone while getting over past failed relationships and Meghan Quinn tackled quite nicely without being too cliché.

I would, however, prefer the pace of this story to picked sooner rather than later. I don't think it will bother anyone too much, but the fake marriage thing only started after the first half of the book. So I kind of forgot about the main premise because I was too lost in the story to even noticed. But it all works out in the end and I enjoy it nevertheless. All in all, a 4 star read for me. I would recommend it wholeheartedly to any rom-com lovers out there, especially if you LOVE an office romance.

From the very first sentence I was hooked. The story line was hilarious and refreshing! I devoured this book! It was everything I have come to know and love from this author!

This book is hysterically funny!!! I had no idea what to expect, the cover was more colorful than a lot of romance novels and the title doesn't give much away. Once I started I could not stop it is so good! Charlee is one of my favorite characters of all time! She is obsessed with office supplies, has 0 filter and doesn't know when to quit. But she also knows her own worth and is strong and independent. Rath, is the trope brooding hero who has been hurt before and is brought to his knees by the heroine. To be honest, I wasn't sure I liked him very much at first, but my love for him grew the more I got to know him.

This book is very meta in that there are multiple references to historical romance and it follows a similar storyline. This is by far the funniest Meghan Quinn novel I have read. There were several scenes where I laughed so hard I cried, then caught my breath so I could read the interaction out loud to my husband.

Another high point of this book is Rath and Bram's bromance. It is unlike any other. I though that the Billionaire Bad Boys by Max Monroe had a bromance, but it is barely friendship compared to the love shared by Rath and Bram. In this book Bram is engaged to Rath's sister (not sure if they have their own book) and apparently Rath had been worried his sister would hurt Bram, not the other way around.

All of these pieces and so much more makes this an exceptionally enjoyable read. Definitely the most entertaining book I have read in 2020!

I received an arc of this book and voluntarily give my review.

3 stars,

I am an unpopular opinion for sure. I do enjoy Meghan Quinn's writing, she pops in with those jokes that make me laugh out loud, I have read a good majority of her books to know what I am getting in to.

But I think from the beginning I knew this wasn't going to be a favorite of mine. I couldn't connect with Charlee or Rath. I did enjoy Rath's character more though, I love me a standoffish alpha male with hidden feelings.

Throughout the book Charlee was all on Rath for not opening up, which I get, if you want to be in a relationship with anyone you have to know about them or at least try. But I feel like most of their conversations were surface level with some small secrets spilled.

I felt like we should have had more back story with Charlee and Rath, their characters felt very surface level to me. I think that is why I didn't connect with them. We only had Charlee's grandma and the other men from the Millionaire Romance series of standalones. I think having more family interaction or something to make them more well rounded would have been nice.

Charlee had her moments of when she was freaking hilarious, and I would just crack up because of what she did to Rath or what she said. But that didn't make up for the fact I couldn't connect with the characters.

Overall this was just mehh to me, I can feel myself getting in to a slump situation, and that could be why I didn't fully enjoy this book as much as others.

Once again, another hit from Meghan Quinn! I *adore* her!

This contemporary romance focuses on grumpy, stern CEO Rath (brother of the heroine in the first book of this series) and a sunshine Executive Assistant who will upturn his life.

I don’t want to spoiler, so I’ll just say this: the heroine is HILARIOUS - possibly the funniest of all of Meghan Quinn’s books I’ve read so far (only Three blind dates can maybe compare).

This book is a gorgeous mix of sassy and funny and swoony and now I understandably so many of Ms Quinn’s readers find this to be their favourite. I Love Meghan Quinn!

(ARC REVIEW) This was fun and funny just what you'd expect from a Meghan Quinn novel. We've met Rath previously in The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister and Diary of a Bad Boy, but this book is a complete standalone- though Bram, Julia, and Roark are all here again. Rath is a true gentleman, unless he's in the bedroom, then he's more a of a respectful alpha. Charlee is quirky and twee and lovely, if not a bit uneven, but she's a good balance for Rath's more uptight personality. Both have been hurt before and are hesitant to try again, until a marriage of convenience ignites a spark they can't ignore (and that spark is very very hot).

Definitely recommend if you like rom-coms, awkward sex dreams, spunky octogenarians, and a genuinely good time.
