Welcome to Endymion College, we all have secrets here. Hopefully yours won’t haut you; if they do we have an amazing occult sections in our library. Anna is a freshman student, deeply scared and suffering from the burdens of her secrets. She makes fast and I mean fast friends with her new roommate Candi. Candi is a returning student trying to hide from the sins of her past. A past that left everyone faculty included wagging their tongues. Her lone ally is Evelyn her childhood friend. Evelyn the nepotism baby is one HR case from being fired no matter what his mother does. These unlikely comrades battle the forces of darkness that lives in Endymion College. I loved that this was a spooky read. There are tons of moments when you think you know what’s going on and it goes in a completely different direction. I appreciated that the romance didn’t take over the entire story. I love and hate the ending. How do you leave so many questions left unanswered that even you list them… that’s just cruel. Definitely will be reading book 2.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first book by W H Lockwood that I have read. It is a dark, gothic, academia

When I picked this book as an ARC from Booksirens, it was the cover that drew me to the book.

I wish this was a book that was being released closer to Halloween as it would have been perfect to read during the Spooky season.

A Lesson in Love and Death seriously left you wondering if it was a horror story or a romance.

The descriptions of Endymion are so good and my favourite place is of course the library.

I know there are more books to come in this series and I am looking forward to reading them.

I received this ARC for an honest review.

Juvenile. I'm not a fan of love at first sight.
Premise is very good though. If the FMC was a bit more mature I'd more interested in finishing the book.
