I received this free in a giveaway for backing a different book's crowd funding campaign. It's a collection of 135 very short pieces of fiction, and with any anthology of that length, some of the stories will inevitably grab the reader more than others. Overall, I'd probably give it 3.5 stars, but definitely enjoyed reading such a variety of ideas. It's not one for reading in a solid block, more for dipping into and reading half a dozen pages or so at a time (so actually perfect for combining with toddler care). Several of the stories really wormed their way into my mind - it was remarkable how much could be said in so short a space. I'd definitely read more flash fiction collections.
