Okay this was FUN. I think if I had read this the format would have been difficult to get into, but the audiobook version was just excellent! Daisy Jones' character arc was really interesting, as we watched her childhood wounds drive her behaviour in her adulthood.

So far I’ve loved every book by TJR... this book was so bizarre to me. It was basically a long boring Rolling Stone-like article about a fake band. The characters were boring and there was zero plot development. It was just “we wrote a song, we got high” on repeat. I read the first 1/3 of the book, skimmed the second 2/3 a then quit.
