CW: drug use, overdose mention, death, abortion

I really like having multiple POVs but the style annoyed me at first, then I got used to it. I thought the procees of music production and also managing addiction were really well done.

Really wish I had listened to the audiobook cause I heard good things!

"I wish someone had told me that love isn’t torture. Because I thought love was this thing that was supposed to tear you in two and leave you heartbroken and make your heart race in the worst way. I thought love was bombs and tears and blood. I did not know that it was supposed to make you lighter, not heavier. I didn’t know it was supposed to take only the kind of work that makes you softer. I thought love was war. I didn’t know it was supposed to… I didn’t know it was supposed to be peace."

this one was. . . what's the word, again? a slow-motion, love potion, jumping off things in the ocean.

leaving my silly Taylor Swift references aside, I think you can tell I enjoyed this one more than TSHOEH.

hold on, don't get me wrong, it is and will never be a masterpiece – at least for me. it was okay, an easy read in a time of stress and rush, a time of projects and school papers. you can say it was the right book at the right time and it gave its best to have an okayish reading experience.

next on the TJR pile? I'll guess it will be Malibu Rissing. but it'll have to wait for a long, long while from now.
