One of my all time favorite books & about the only book I read over and over again with religious fervor. It is in perpetual rotation & often helps me drift off to sleep.

This was one of the best and most heartwarming books i’ve ever read. it’s made me question the way i move about in the world and if i’m giving back enough. i know it wasn’t a self help book rather one on IWOK but it is one that i will remember and take the teachings with me forever.

This was really beautiful, brilliant use of language and science together. Don't have much to say as I am in fact, intensely stupid and this book is above me in basically every way. Just stunning.

The author’s words and voice are poetic, full of love and an invitation to consider relating to our physical world from a (for me) wholly new perspective. Wile it took me time to get through, entering each chapter felt like entering a new realm, I am grateful to have absorbed her wisdom. The blending of science with indigenous wisdom has shifted something in me - my place in the world and relationship to the earth. Deeply moving.
