🚨Spoilers🚨The title fit this story perfectly. Felt so sad what Robert parents did to him, I think if they would of showed him unconditional love he wouldn’t of doubted himself as much in love, faith and loyalty. Broke my heart what happened between him and Michael. Everything with Isabel & Simon, & the other students was crazy. I hope Isabel & Simon find their way back to each other.

Oh, my beloved Sizzy dose.
Also Robert????? Michael?????? Hello????? Why are you such a prick???? Now I really appreciate Jace and Izzy more, since it could've gone wrong in so many ways.

To be honest, I really don't care one bit for Robert Lightwood or how the whole Circle started up. We learned about it in TMI, I don't need to be reminded of it again. But Simon's part was fun!

I enjoyed this and liked seeing Roberts view on Valentine and the circle. I feel like I do understand him a bit more but I still don't like him. But I love Michael. And seeing the circle young was really cool.
And Sizzy. I love them and I am so happy izzy stood up for herself and ah so good. - May 18 2017

I liked that this series of stories had smaller stories about the past as the forefront, then Simon's experience as the overarching plot. The similarities between the two timelines was good. Isabelle was annoying but I understood why, and I never thought I'd find Simon so boring! Once again, Valentine was despicable but Robert was also awful.

Honestly after about halfway through I skim read the Robert - circle parts , it just was too slow . I enjoyed the sizzy bits but this is definitely my least favourite so far
