Raw, emotional and deeply compelling with some gorgeous, almost haunting artwork.

As a fellow coma survivor, parts of this were hard to read. The fact it follows her husbands timeliness whilst she is intubated etc is particularly devastating. Had a good cry but was ultimately pleased to see something I experienced so well documented even though my delusions and hallucinations were vastly different

This is my favourite graphic novel I've ever read or heard about. I found it really incredible to read Zara's dream journey whilst she was in her coma and emotional to hear her husband's side of the story. I really would have liked more text accompanying the dream components, but I liked that they used colour whilst the rest was in black and white.
