4th reread- so good, though this one took a bit longer to get through than the others. The mysteries in this one build without a definite conclusion yet. The scene towards the end - Mr. Forkle’s death - made me cry. It’s so well written and the ending of this one is really strong.

One of my favorite books in the series.
Reread it again so far it still is my favorite book in the series. I loved everyone who I was supposed to love and hated neverseen. I was sad for many moments in the book also on edge as well but overall I'm ready to see what happens in nightfall.

Dieses Buch hat einfach klar gemacht, dass ich ein absolutes Keefe Girly bin.
Ich liebe nicht nur die Freundschaft, die zwischen ihm und Sophie ist, sondern ich hoffe auch schwer das die beiden Endgame sind. Wenn nicht, dann nehmt mir nicht die Hoffnung.
Ich hab mir wirklich nach dem Ende vom letzten Band so viele Sorgen um Keefe gemacht und wie das alles wieder geregelt wird. Aber es war echt super gemacht. Ich bin aber immer noch wegen der ganzen Situation nervös.
Mich hat es wirklich gefreut mehr von Tam und Linh zu sehen. Ich mag die beiden einfach richtig sehr. Sie sind so eine tolle Ergänzung zu der Gruppe. Der Zuwachs von Grizel hat mir auch total gefallen, gerade in Verbindung zu Sandor. Schön wenn ihm mal jemand anderes als Sophie das Leben schwer macht.
Ich fand den Band wieder total spannend, mit vielen Rätseln und mit so vielen offenen Fragen. Das Herz hat es mir auch gebrochen, denn mit dem Verlust hatte ich absolut nicht gerechnet.
UND DANN DAS ENDE!!!! Ich hab jetzt schon vor einer Weile das Buch beendet aber die letzten Sätze des Buches gehen mir einfach nicht aus dem Kopf. Ich bin so auf den nächsten Band gespannt (ich glaub das schreib ich wirklich bei jedem Band. Oooops)

I don't just love the friendship between him and Sophie, but I truly hope they are endgame. If not, don't let me know and stay delusional.
The ending of the last book had me stressed cause I was so worried about Keefe and what all of this meant. But I love how they handles the whole situation. Even though I'm still a bit nervous.
I just loved seeing more of Tam and Linh. I love them both so much and they are such an amazing addition to the group. Also the addition of Grizel I LOVE, especially whatever is going on between her and Sandor. I just love that there is someone else who makes his life a bit harder, aside from Sophie.
I think this book was super exciting once again, so many mysteries to solve, so many unanswered questions. It also broke my heart in the worst way cause I wasn't expecting to lose that characters at all.
AND THEN THE ENDING!!!! I finished the book a few days ago but these last few sentences still haunt me. I'm so excited for the next book (I think I write this every damn time. Ooops)

I’m an adult reading these books back to back and even I’m getting confused. Neverseen, Lodestar Initiative, the Black Swan. Middle schoolers are pretty incredible if they’re able to keep all this straight!
I do still love this series but it needs to clear up some things before dumping five new mysteries on us.
