I Literally Couldn’t Put it Down

I’m in love with this series. Out of the hundreds of post-apocalyptic novels I’ve read, this is the only series where I’ve “cheated” and read to the end of the last book, just to make sure who lives/dies.
Extremely well developed primary characters, and a decent enough depiction of secondary characters as to not cause confusion. I started book #1 yesterday, and will be starting the last one now.
If you’re a fan of Sarah Lyons Fleming’s zombie series, you’ll love this series, too.

This book wasn't as good as the first, but it was still really good. You get used to Emma being different. It becomes her, at first your like oh my that's not good but then it's like good thing because she can't get sick!
I love how their a family dynamic now, You can see Emma growing as a person way more.

So I still want Em on my team if the world goes to hell, but please authors, stop turning bad ass girls onto whiny tenns, it does nothing for the story, you can show that she is different in so many other ways, plus she really just seems like a typical angsty teen. Thank goodness this doesn't last too long. That aside, I still love this series and can't wait to finish the last book.
