What if Padmé and Anakin gave in to their feelings and not kept it a secret? Would things be different? In this altered universe version of Attack of the Clones we find out. Things turn out to be a whole lot different. The same concept, the same war, only with other turns of events.

I'm going to be really honest about this book. I'd expected more... I liked the concept and I liked the idea behind this, I mean, I was a mess after Revenge of the Sith and I needed a book to cheer me up. It did, in ways. The beginning was good and I loved it, but when the book progresses the story gets weaker. It didn't really get to me anymore, I wasn't that thrilled to continue and it took me a long time to finish the last 100 pages. I hated the fact that Padmé kept kissing Anakin on his cheek. It's okay to do it a few times, but almost every page? No. The typos and grammar mistakes were starting to bother me and the poor word choices, too.
Ferguson did a great job at portraying Anakin and Padmé, but in the end he kind of failed at keeping it exciting. As I already said, I had expected more, but that doesn't mean I didn't like it. I did. It was nice to read one of my favorite couples getting a happy ending. I will read the sequel in the near future.

OMG I loved it!!!! I found this book when I was browsing through Apple Books for free and when I saw that this was a possibility of what would have been if Anakin and Padme had decide to be true to their live instead of hiding I was pretty interested. And I loved it. This was what I needed after so many year of crying with revenge of the sith! This was what I wanted when I was a fifteen year old witch episode three in the cinema with tears in my eyes!!!!!
