Rereading this book (and seeing the new film three times) was definitely the move.

I loved this classic! It's about growing up and working on your flaws to improve yourself. A close knit family supports each other through hard times.

This book is so charming and filled with such great and lovable characters. I loved watching them learn, grow up and become better people. I was always entertained and became so invested in their lives and relationships. The pacing makes me feel like I was growing with them.

I’ve seen movie adaptations many times but reading the book allowed for so much more depth which I loved. Particularly Amy and Laurie’s love story as well as jo and Bhaer. All of the characters relationships with each other were so special and reading their character arch’s was so gratifying.

I was at times a little bored or uninterested in a chapter. (Mainly towards the end of part 2 or where the language bogged me a little, or felt a little too preachy - 11&45).  But it’s a classic so I get it :D

I love how much joy and abundance this story has and made me feel!
I can only think fondly of it!

What a beautiful little read . I fell in love and out of love with a few of the characters as the book went on. But by the end I didn’t want to have to leave the March sisters behind . My heart broke and was fixed again as the book went through their adventures and downfalls
