...This was fine. It doesn't stand out to me as exceptionally great story but there's nothing glaringly wrong with it either. If you like dark vampire romances that jump into the physical immediately, this is your thing.
The plot wasn't well defined. Like what is the goal for these characters and why? The characters are equally ambiguous. I'm not even confident if our protagonist is rebellious or shy or submissive. She seems to say and do whatever works in the scene.
It sounds like I'm hating on the book, and that's not fair. Katee Robert is a talented writer. And I appreciate that her vampires are dark and dangerous. Also the books are a reasonable length, which I appreciate more than words can express.

Well this one packs a steamy punch. It is fast paced and hella hot. The plot isn't really a focus but I enjoyed it anyway. I think it could have been much more but if you are wanting heat this one will deliver.
