Really great. Stayed up til 230am more than once to read it. I enjoyed the writing style, it was easy to understand without being lazy or simple; hard sci-fi books usually intimidate me because they can get bogged down in reality and science. Excellent world building. Reminded me of a mix of Mass Effect and Firefly. Loved the mix of noir and horror and space opera.
Bored me, may return to it in the future.

Good book, super cool to see the lens of politics, racism, war and more through a lens of a sci fi book. It was not extremely science technical which I liked, I like a mix. Will definitely read the second one and want to watch the show.
