What a nostalgia trip! It's been a while since I've read anything of hers. I did grow up reading her books, esp. the Five Find-Outers series, since they feature such headstrong kids having wild adventures. This book is true to formula and it's fun to know that it's a formula that still works.

Wonderfully narrated by Jan Francis.
I read most of the Famous Five books as a child, but I did not remember this one.
A good introduction to the cousins and Tummy.

It's a great throwback read to get you to relax.

A childhood favourite - I was given the full set of the Famous Five novels for Christmas a few years ago and am finally getting round to reading them.

This is the first in the series and I actually don’t remember reading this one at all! I loved revisiting a childhood read, it was like a warm hug

I loved The Famous Five and it was nice to reminisce.

Am reading this at bedtime to my 9 year old. He loves the story and tries to predict what will happen next.
