i loved this book. it has stayed with me since i read it and i can't remember when i read it. think i might have to reread it. 4 friends who have gone separate ways and are getting back together to celebrate their 40th birthdays. they all have skeletons in their closets that are coming out. they all learn a lot about each other, but most of all themselves. this is not something i would normally read, but this is one of my favorites.
I really liked the story of 4 women who were childhood friends reuniting for their 40th birthdays and sharing their lives. I liked the spirituality and messages woven in as well.
This book was ok, I enjoyed it and stayed interested. If you aren't a Christian, you probably won't enjoy it or fully get it - so I probably wouldn't recommend this to you. But if you are a Christian then you'll probably like it and find some encouragement in it. I did think it was a slower paced drama with comedy thrown in. I'm glad I read it but there are probably a ton of books I'd recommend before this one but if you're just looking for some easy-going reading about friendships and family, then this one works!
