The way this story was woven together was magical in the most moving and beautiful way. I loved Mira’s journey in everything that happens during and after her trip to New York.

This was quite a story. I thought it would be a lighthearted rom-com. It had so much more substance. It tackled homophobia, sexism, and sexual assault.
The story was told in dual timelines. I was so invested in each story and how they would intersect. I enjoyed learning about the culture and beliefs of Mira’s people. She was a great leading lady. She was smart and determined. I loved her spunk. She went through so much to return the lost ring to its owner. I loved how it all worked out.

This was a really great book! It did take quite a while to really get going with the story line (I was starting to wonder if the synopsis didn’t go with the right book), but once it finally did it never slowed down. The storyline of the ring was heartbreakingly beautiful. I absolutely loved this book!
