Spectacularly well-written, and a good read at that. This was a book club book, and made for great discussion. I don't know why we didn't read any of her work in high school, honestly.
I loved this collection of short stories from the first page. The characters are so real I can see people I know and myself in them. Flannery writes beautifully of family, class, race, and faith. This is a beautiful collection of stories on what it means to be human.
