I really enjoyed this book. It was my first sci-fi novel and it was a good choice. When the narrators switch between chapters, you can really feel the difference between the characters and the writing. I’m looking forward to checking out the second book!

Mix together a little bit of Firefly, the massive scale of the mystery in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and the gritty feel of a Blade Runner type story, and you’ll understand the scope of Leviathan Wakes. The good news for me was that it wasn’t too hard for me to follow, despite the large number of introductory characters. It quickly pares itself down to a core few.

I enjoyed it enough to want to find out what happens next, and as there are lots of books in this series, I think I have some of that ahead.

Audible note: good reader!
