This was a sweet little Christmas novella from one of my favorite authors. It was a little predictable, but even then it did throw in a bit of a twist which made it fun and magical. I only wish the ending wasn't quite so abrupt. But overall, a fun little Christmas read!

3.5 stars. The beginning of this book was very unexpected for a Christmas story. It’s cute and sweet. I would have given it a higher rating, but some details were really annoying. You can’t walk around in the PNW in only a sweater in December. And she was missing a shoe but was able to go into town?

Kristin Hannah is my favorite author and this book is well written as usual, but the story is just ridiculous! The first part was excellent but then it gets really weird.
fast-paced

Not my favorite of hers but very Christmas story ending. Hallmark movie worthy.

So there’s this terrible book…

Listened to this one on audio book and read parts of it as well. Its one of Kristin's earlier books that (in true Kristin fashion) tugs on the heart strings :) While its not my absolute favorite of hers (True Colors/Night Road), its still a great read.
