Not my favorite. Read because a few people recommended it. Listened on audio, which was good.
Enjoyed. Interesting twist and a bit unbelievable but enjoyed nonetheless. Nice relaxing and happy read for December.

This was easy. It’s not deep. It’s not complex. There’s a twist but it won’t blow your mind - it might even annoy you.

My book club selected three books to read for Christmas: One contemporary, one mystery, one fantasy. Comfort and Joy is the contemporary book. I had high hopes due to the author, but this book was a sappy, unbelievable, and very dated mess. Joy was the most intrusive and oblivious character, and has the distinction of being one of the most boring heroine Iâve ever read. Still, I can already tell this will be the better of the three books so thatâs disappointing. LOL
2?5 stars. The realist in me can't quite accept this story, yet, it was touching to see the change in Joy as she recovers from injuries from a plane crash, comes to forgive her sister, and helps heal the relationship between a boy and his father. Hannah does know how to write relationships.
