2 hours 6 minutes - I haven't really read many short story collections before. I enjoyed these to varying amounts. As a whole, I didn't find them that unsettling, and often was left trying to find a deeper message where there was none, particularly in the very first story, Angelita Unearthed. There were stories I liked a lot better, including 'Our Lady of the Quarry', 'The Well', 'Where Are You Dear Heart?', and 'No Birthdays or Baptisms'. These, I felt, did a better job at creating the creepy, unsettling atmosphere I was promised, and seemed to provide a bit more of a commentary than some of the other stories did.
