Really great/unique word choices, tightly written & almost disturbing descriptions, and enjoyed how Cass Khaw played around with mermaid tropes. Definitely wanted more.

This was a brutal, viscous, and gory fairytale. The writing was lovely, but I wasn’t sure as to what the point was. I feel like there should have been a little more development because I didn’t exactly understand why certain things were happening. Nonetheless, the descriptions were incredible.
