Bit disappointed by this! Still a good book but nowhere near the level of the Neopolitan novels... I liked Olga as a character, I sympathised with her and felt hatred for Mario - but there was SO MUCH rambling, a severe lack of question marks, run-on sentences, some points which seemed to make no sense. Also the bit about the door being stuck was about five times as long as it needed to be. Also, was Elena Ferrante in some kind of competition to see how many times she could use the word "cock" and "cunt"?
