Well this series was fun. While the plot was a bit predictable, I still enjoyed it. I feel the author wrote an ending that was fitting for the characters. My only criticism is how trusting Mera is in this book. Maybe it is the lost memories that made her trust a stranger, but the connection with Sam was odd to me. I enjoyed her growth in this book and really enjoyed the ending. But I am a sucker for HEAs. I loved how soft and different Shadow became. The fact that love can change anyone, no matter how beastly they are is my favorite trope afterall. Definitely fun reading.

Although I feel that the story is unnecessarily drawn out thanks to the ending of the second book, I enjoyed it because some of these characters became dear to me, but I am glad that everything is over.
I don't plan to read the other parts of this series.

shadowshine

“You belong to me, Sunshine. Now and forever.” As his lips met mine, all I could think was: Where’s the lie? Shadowshine. He’d been worried that one was too dark and the other too light with only destructive storms between us, but that was no longer the case. Now we were both filled with dark and light, and together, we were the storm.

Beautifully written. I’ll be honest when I say Mera kinda annoys me a bit with her s3x addicted mind, but overall I loved this story and loved her rebirth and thus her rediscovery of herself.

This was a good ending to a great trilogy. I loved these characters so much, and had a hard time putting them down. I'm looking forward to reading Angles story next
