Gorgeous poetry. Took me too long to read. Ending was frustrating

This isn't a bad book or an uninteresting story, although the writing is a bit too much and 'then they did this and then they did that and he said this and she said that' for my taste.

But I personally rarely enjoy coming-of-age stories and children or teenagers as protagonists.
So I would still recommend, if you like these kind of stories.
