An absolute delight! Brilliant writing and characterization. Loved the story telling and the way the whole book was structured. How everything started to unravel and make sense, it was really satisfying to see. Also the setup in an exotic location is a much welcome. Deducting a star mostly because I figured out the killer before hand. A little predictable but nevertheless an enjoyable read.

I enjoyed the movie, but the book is a slog. It took me three days to read a single chapter. That's normally more than enough time to read an entire book. I guess books about rich people gossiping about rich people is not my cup.

Definitely one of the best Christie novels. The way she builds tension and character interaction is SO enjoyable. I loved the red herrings, and was actually really proud of myself for guessing the correct answers to the plot and sideplot with the clues we were given. Very enjoyable, will be rereading.

Delightfully charming, if not a little slow for the first half. It's not hard to predict the ending, but the twist remains enjoyable regardless.
