I was kind of expecting a little bit different from a rock star romance but it is a good soft romance book. Classic story of girl has an accident and gets amnesia

I love the amnesia trope. This was a great spin on that. I loved the twists and really felt Laird’s heartbreak. He was heartbroken when Poppy didn’t show up and then again when he thought he meant nothing to her because she couldn’t remember him. I loved how all in he was with Poppy and even when he wanted to hate her, he couldn’t.
Poppy was such a resilient character. She went through a lot to recover from the car accident and really struggled with the memories that were locked in her head. I loved that she trusted her gut with Laird and allowed them to have a second chance, even though she didn’t remember their first chance.
I really enjoyed this book. Even though it was a stand alone, it took place in the same world as the Wescotts. I loved the cameos and the interwoven relationships. I also really appreciated a rock star romance with a mmc who didn’t stray from his love and, despite the one situation he found himself in, wasn’t written as a playboy.

Oh. My. This read was everything I didn't know I needed! I was immediately pulled in, the intensity and deep connection that Poppy and Laird shared. The emotion hit me right where it was supposed to. These are both very strong, lovable characters, and each have a depth to them that kept me right there with them. The story is great and I didn't want to put it down. A must read!

This book had me devouring every page. The weekend they share you can tell Laird had fallen so hard for Poopy, like he never knew it was possible.
So when she didn’t show the next day it left him spiraling for the next two years till she walks back into his life as his personal chef.😵
The tension (and banter) between these to ‘cuz she doesn’t recognize him and how devastated that is to him was 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐜!!
The journey these two go on is perfection. Laird trying to stay patient and not give anything away about their past and Poppy trying to find herself after the accident that changed her life had me rooting for them.
Getting to have some of Suzie previous characters revisit always makes my heart happy.🥰

“I will choose you every time. In every lifetime. Our past, present, and future. I will never discount the power of destiny again. I’m embracing it. My soul was with you in that car. When you pulled me from the vehicle, my heart was in your hands.”
hmm i don’t know what i expected but it was for sure not this.
the pacing was really weird and i didn’t understand a lot of the actions both main characters did.

Laird & Poppy’s story is sweet and fiery. They meet at his concert, and fall fast for one another. They are ripped apart, but when they finally come back together, you can’t stop the connection they have. I loved that Laird is turned back around to her in no time flat. He can’t hold onto his anger. I loved it!

Never have I ever been so captivated by a read as I was with *Never Have I Ever: A Rock Star Enemies to Lovers Romance* by S.L. Scott. From the prologue to the epilogue, Ms. Scott maintained an emotional pace that left me breathless. This is truly a fated mates story, even if fate can be cruel sometimes.
When rock star Laird and Poppy's eyes meet across the stage at a rock concert, the chemistry is instant. One unforgettable night seals their connection, only for their story to be abruptly put on hold, reminiscent of a scene from *An Affair to Remember*. Fast forward a couple of years, and fate steps in again: Poppy, a chef, finds herself in a cabin cooking for Laird. He can’t believe his eyes, but Poppy acts as if she doesn’t remember him.
Despite her amnesia, the sizzling connection between them is as strong as ever. Poppy can’t understand why Laird seems to hate her, but a matching tattoo might hold the key to their past. This remarkable story of fate, second chances, and finding that heart-pounding happily ever after delivers it all. S.L. Scott has truly crafted an unforgettable romance.

All I knew going into this book was that it is a rockstar romance and I love those so that was enough for me. What I didn’t know is that it’s an amnesia romance full of second chances and watching these two fall back in love as easily as the first time. Laird and Poppy are the definition of fate, accidentally running into each other and falling in love so quickly not once but twice just shows how they are meant to be together.
Laird stole the show for me in this book, his hatred for thinking Poppy left him and just forgot about the most memorable weekend of his life to then respecting her lack of memories and everything so that she could fall in love with him naturally a second time was beautiful. He truly loved her in every way and there was no way he’d let her go again, and while Poppy doesn’t know him from before, she knows quickly just how much he loves her.
I adored this book and couldn’t stop reading it, I can’t wait to continue getting books from the band’s members!

NEVER HAVE I EVER by SL Scott
Laird and Poppy's story
Tropes: Rockstar, Amnesia, Second Chance, Fate
This story screams romance at it's finest. A one night stand brings Laird our rockstar together with his fan Poppy for a night of bliss and an instant love so deep. It had to be Fate the way they both fell so hard for each other. Then Fate makes a quick turn and two years later they meet up again and O.M.G. it's just so good!! I loved the plot and the characters so beautifully developed. Their chemistry was swoon worthy. Laird and Poppy definitely have their troubles but love prevails and I loved every scorching moment!!!

I AM SO FUCKING OBSESSED WITH THIS BOOK. I CAN’T. I CANNOT. I CAN NOT FATHOM. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
I did not know what to expect when I first started reading this, especially with Poppy, and how it had turned out the way it did. I’m not going to lie, I was internally screaming at her because HOW IN THE FUCK could she do that? LIKE WHAT. But lo and behold, everything comes to light and my heart FUCKING BROKE for her. Absolutely fucking DEVASTATED. I wanted to cry for her and with her. And I wanted to hurl some shit at her mother. For real. Like. What. A. Fucking. Bitch. That shit made me fucking mad. Good God. But she was A FUCKING BLAST. Her wit, personality, charm, banter, just everything about her was like a ray of fucking sunshine. No wonder Laird took a liking to her *smirk*.
But Laird, OH MY GOD LAIRD. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! If I could fall in love with a damn rockstar, IT WOULD BE HIM. I just… GAAAHHH! We LOVE a man who IS A WALKING GREEN FLAG. I loved him so much and good god did his cute ass make me fucking cry. If someone said that shit to me I would marry their damn ass on the spot. I would wait forever for him too. There are very little words that can accurately describe how I feel for this book, and I COULD NOT GET ENOUGH. Enough of Poppy of Laird, of their destiny. JUST CHEF’S KISSES ALL ROUND.
From the blurb to the first fucking chapter, I was completely obsessed, and it drunk me in like fucking wine. And since then, I got sucked in more and more and I loved every word. I just… I died, dead, RIP me, do not resuscitate. THIS IS JUST TOO FUCKING INCREDIBLE. My whole body is brimming with such warmth and happiness after reading this book it just… AAAHHHH. I CAN’T. I AM IN LOVE. SO IN LOVE.
