A delightfully page-turning murder mystery chock-filled with absolutely terrible humans that simply get more terribler. You’ve got bratty jerks, creepy creepsters, a decade old dead body, a newly stabbed lass, and you can literally trust no one! And just when you think that they couldn’t get more awful...they doooo!

Loved the short chapters. Loved the multiple perspectives. Love the jumping in time. Nothing WILD happened but I was still jaw dropped at one point. Satisfying read.

I almost dnf'd this in the first two chapters because the writing was so dreadful. Either I got used to it or she toned down the descriptions a bit (he had a jawline like an action figure) because I managed to finish. And it got a little twisty, and seriously I just hate every single one of these characters.

I was bored, it was free and a quick read.

It's a fairly short thriller at 255 pages and it has a tight mystery at it's heart that will keep you guessing. I finished all within a day; it's easy to read and intriguing to keep you going. You can sense something's off with some of these characters but it's never too much to give the game away too soon. A great little who-dunnit.

I've read too many thrillers at this point for this one to really stand out; I read it in a weekend, and only a few days have gone by since, but I can't even remember too much about it. I'm not sure that I'll be able to recall reading it in a few weeks. This could be a good read on a flight, but there are other, faster-paced, more intricate, heart-pounding thrillers that I'd recommend before this one.

It was entertaining and I let myself get caught up in the "whodunit" plot... but it wasn't especially good. Felt basic, but nice to have a light, quick read.

Loved the storyline and the twists.

Easy, enjoyable read.

Couldn’t put it down, couldn’t guess the ending

This story becomes compelling early on as we meet various characters in some way connected to a college student who went missing and new evidence shows may have been murdered 10 years ago - her sister and other people she knew from the college.

Although there were several characters and various lines connecting them, it was not difficult to keep track of them (something I sometimes have trouble with, but not with this story), and it became easy to make speculations about reasons some of them might have been involved in her disappearance.

There are so many twists and turns along the way that kept me guessing, and I really enjoyed every page all the way to the end.

The narration was also excellent.

I often don’t have good luck with Amazon First Reads books, but this one was rather good. The story was fast paced and kept me interested till the very end.

My only complaint is that the editor could have done a better job at proofreading the draft. I found a few spots where a character’s name was mentioned when you can tell from the story that it was actually about a different one.
