Kickass female superheroes. Gorgeous artwork. Quick pace. Solid writing. This is one that I tore through so fast and wanted so much more of, but that has enough little details in the panels to give me something to come back to. I'd take more of these every day.

Love it- all my favorite Marvel women together in one comic! My favorite Secret Wars comic so far! The art and design are extremely well done and I was captivated by the story in only a few issues. The characters were well developed in this length, and I'm looking forward to reading the A Force series after Secret Wars.

I really love this. The strong female friendships, the compelling story, the fact that there's a Sharknado reference withing the first seven pages. Its awesome! I love the character Singularity and how she takes a lesson from each member of A-Force. This also got me shipping Mary-Jane and MJ. Which is a problem and yet not a problem at the same time. I'm gonna defiantly read the current series now that i have finally read the Secret Wars one.

Out of the all the Secret Wars material I've sampled or read, this is my favorite. Lots of great characters, complicated dynamics between them, a good mystery, and the creation of a new superhero! The art is pretty, but it's definitely very male-gazey multiple times per issue for no good reason.

(Is Secret Wars over yet?)

Seeing some my favorite heroines sharing the page was great. But the plot and the relationships between characters felt impossible to get invested in. This was one of my first big "event" comics, and confirmed for me that they're not my jam. The art also didn't work for me - as much as it pains me to agree with Jill Lepore's terrible New Yorker piece about this series, some of the characters did feel too scantily clad and over-endowed, plus most of the displays of emotion didn't read as genuine to me.

So great.
I tend not to read special events as they're generally overwhelming and often not that great anyway so I haven't read much of Secret Wars. I'm actually thinking I might though, I really enjoyed this, the concept of secret wars actually interested me beyond enjoying A-Force because it is a kickass team of some of my fav Marvel women.
Really recommend.

One of the better titles in the Secret Wars series. Since this focuses on Marvel's female characters--who are killing it right now--it's no surprise this was good. Plus, zombies. So, winners all around.
