Every version of the play I've watches has made me bend over giggling, and the play is light enough it makes easier reading for the novice, which I was when I read it--and still am.

this was such a fun read i loved this one. my first shakespeare and i now understand why hes stuck around so much. i love love love beatrice the legend shes incredible. her feminist rant - iconic. her banter and quick sarcasm - incredible. her enemies to lovers with benedick, i cant. "i will requite thee, taming my wild heart to thy loving hand" like come on. claudio is kinda a dumbass but who can blame him hes just a little silly. don john is just a bitch here to ruin the vibes. makes the title make sense like it truly is much ado about nothing huh. anyway i loved this it actually made me laugh out loud and care for the characters and get offended at the drama its just fun and a well deserved CLASSIC. definitely gonna be reading more comedies of the bard haha

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed reading this and how well I could actually understand Shakespeare's writing. I remember struggling really hard in high school when we would be assigned to read something by Shakespeare but this time around, I found it so much easier to get through for whatever reason. One thing I really enjoyed about this play were the characters of Beatrice and Benedick, not only because I love a good enemies to lovers trope, but also because they're both hilarious. I did find the story a bit boring and repetitive at times so I only ended up giving it four stars, but I think this would be a good read for somebody who is looking to get out of their comfort zone of reading a little bit. The play is also pretty short so if you're looking for something that you can read through pretty quickly to add another book to your completed list, this could potentially be a good choice for that as well.

beatrice and benedick very bisexual behavior. claudio and don pedro very himbo squad. i imagined the ending where it just says [DANCE] as the one in shrek. too tired to write review.
