this memoir was an intense read, and i'd definitely check out the content warnings before reading. but if someone can and wants to read it, i think they’ll all appreciate it. so powerful, so dark, so beautifully written. and second person!

This was my second time reading this book for a class and I really enjoyed it! It felt like reading a piece of art, especially with the audiobook read by the author. Sometimes the experimental writing can be a little confusing but overall this book is amazing and if you’ve had any kind of abusive experience and need to know you’re not alone I highly recommend it.
