You know its a good children's book when you have a good time reading it when you're older. I keep laughing out loud when I read the Junie B. Jones series. [a:Barbara Park|769|Barbara Park|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1393724640p2/769.jpg] really knows how little kid's think.

This early chapter book details the life of Junie B. Jones as she navigates her extreme curiosity about the world and the people and things in it. As you read, you can see that Junie loves to hide and spy to hopefully learn new information about the many things she is curious about. In this book, we get taken on her spying adventure to figure out where her teacher lives and who her mystery man is. This book would be ideal for children ages 6-8. In the classroom, this book would be an excellent silent reading option for any student.

I loved reading it! Looking back on Junie B as an adult is always a good time. My issue with this one is that it introduced the idea of spying on people; and didn't put in enough consequences to make it clear, to my nephew, that spying is wrong. So, it's a good book, but be prepared for some tested boundaries if your kid is the kind to test you.

We read out loud these chapter books to the kids. I do not know who enjoys them more, the parents or the kids? Sometimes Dawn and I get to laughing so hard we have to stop reading to the kids. The voice of Junie B. Jones is so well done by Barbara Park, her writing fully communicates her personality through a hilarious narrative.
