Why do I feel like this book was really fast paced and yet really drawn out all at once? I didn’t really feel any spark between the two MCs. Ava and Alex’s romance just kind of fell a bit flat for me and I’m not sure I found either of them all that wholeheartedly likeable either, but definitely preferred Ava to Alex. There were parts of this book that felt random and disjointed. The plot did have some good twists and interesting developments though. And I liked Josh’s character. I’ve heard the series improves after book 1 so fingers crossed.
Satisfactory ending? Yeah I guess, the ending seemed to last forever though.
