Wow. What a gift of a book this is. Li is so precise with her words and she never writes to gain sympathy for herself. Her book Where Reasons End was a challenging read in that I couldn’t always follow what was happening. This one is so clear-headed and I think when you’re ready for it, I urge you to pick it up.
