Nothing new, both the change and story were boring. And i was shocked that this book was published in 2021, i thought it must have been 2014 or earlier considering how the FMC was belittling other women and was a major pick me.

I listened to this on audiobook and it just wasn't keeping my attention so I think I missed what little character development there is because she went from thinking he's the worst, watching him hooking up with tons of woman, to suddenly
he offers and she accepts for him to be the first one to bring her to orgasm from eating her out. Wtf happened that I missed lol. Yes there was a vacation and lots of little situations but jeez.

FMC was a bartender but her friend Jonathan hooks up her to replace him as the assistant for a celebrity plastic surgeon, Hayes Flynn. Hayes acts like a playboy, sleeping with different woman. He somehow has an amazing body but doesn't eat any vegetables or vitamins (lol k).

I didn't like FMC's humor - her humor is shock value than going haha can't believe you fell for that!

... Will write rest of review later.

Hot! Plus, cute caretaking aspects and sacrifice at the end, swoon!

First book I was able to finish after a LONG slump.
Most of my issues are with the phrasing and structure of paragraphs/pages rather than plot/development.

The manwhore/sleeps with any warm hole trope is one of my least favorites but Hayes 🥹

This was five stars until 90% when Tali became an actual moron. I can’t even entertain how much dumb bitch juice she drank to make such poor and selfish decisions with reckless abandon. She wanted Hayes to read her mind and was absolutely shocked and depressed when he didn’t. Hayes deserved so much better. ★★★ for Hayes and Hayes only.

This was so fun! The banter was epic! The way they went from enemies to lovers and how their relationship as friends to lovers evolved was written so well and so realistic. Tali - a take care of everyone, struggling writer, who ended a 10 year relationship with ex and takes over for her best friend as an assistant to a top surgeon for 2 months. Hayes - the surgeon who is a rich manwh+re that's ex fiancé married his father. Both not trustworthy of love. They become such good friends and the friendship was so much fun. I just wish it was both point of views.
