I think this book managed to pull at every single one of my emotional heartstrings. It made me laugh and cry, and sometimes at once. As emotionally charged as it was, I was surprised as hell there was a HAE.
There were a few things I didn't fully invest in--like how quickly Kacey and Trent got to that point of trust. I would have liked to see a more gradual approach for them, but in the end I didn't care. I was rooting for them to figure it out.

Haven't read anything this good since I put away last C.Hoover book. This completely blew me into bits and pieces. Genius story building, although I did see it coming the Trent/Cole connection, but still was magical. The right emotion roller-coaster ride at the right moment.

Cheesy while also romanticizing toxic behaviors. Not worth my time.

ohoho, don’t get me wrong—i’m still reading (will probably edit if i’m no longer) but the glaring reason i’m giving this one star is bc i can’t stand it when the fmc decided to keep on demeaning strippers. yeah, sure, she got jealous blah blah but really? calling the strippers names? judging people just bc they work on a strip club? stfu

edit: DNF at 37 %

i’m also so disappointed bc i liked the last two books of K. A. Tucker that i read. I thought, oh i should give this a chance. Yeah, nada. demeaning people working at a strip club and annoying back and forth with the guy (not even in a cute way) isn’t my cup of tea.

I really liked it. It was really intense.
You could picture everything she went through.
The twist I seen coming though.

I found this to be a solid easy fast paced read which was surprising given some of the difficult topics that were covered. I did find the book to have some unrealistic points but the way the author made the characters so lovable made up for it. The secondary characters especially really added to the novel because of how lovable they were. I was completely invested in all of the storylines which made this novel very easy to get through and extremely eventful. I have mixed feelings about the twist because it felt predictable. I also felt that the ending was a bit too convenient but I was happy to see a deserving end result for a lot of these characters. Overall, I felt like this was a very solid book and I look forward to reading the next book in the series!

Ten Tiny Breaths Book Review

I rate it 3 stars. It was a great, great book but .... I don't know. I feel like it deserves just 3 stars. Or maybe 3.5 stars.

It was amazing. Kind of predictable. (who DIDN'T predict that Trent was Cole?) It was a good book. It had high ratings here in goodreads so my expectations were a little bit too high. :))))

3.5 stars! It's a nice, good read. :)
