It's been awhile since I read a "cozy mystery," and I really enjoyed this one! Several twists thrown in towards the end to keep you guessing.

Just okay. It bothered me that it took several chapters to find out what exactly drove Adri back to Idaho. There were hints of tragedy, but I got sick of playing the guessing game. I was expecting it to come up a lot sooner based on the back cover description.

Overall, an okay story, but one that I probably wouldn't revisit.

There was some problematic rhetoric in this book that left a bad taste in my mouth. I might listen to another book for the unique plot but the book itself is definitely mediocre

I loved this cozy mystery, and now need to read everything else by this author. The characters were so real and developed, that if I ever were to get married I would want to call Adri and Lorea and have them plan my wedding. Adri in particular deals with a lot throughout the story, of course, but her every reaction was natural and completely in line with her character. Even the supporting characters had incredible depth. And while this was on the longer side of a cozy, for all that a character development, the excitement never slackened - every chapter built up to an almost-too-exciting climax.

Would recommend to mystery fans, but also to romance readers who may be looking for something slightly different.

I received a copy of this book to review for a blog tour that I am participating in but all opinions are my own.

I loved this book, it was like watching one of those horror movies where the girl is running up the stairs when she should be going out the front door and you are screaming at the tv in vain but she can't hear you and the bad things keep happening. So addicting.

Plus there were all the great wedding tips written in, which I loved and my fiance may not have.

My benchmark for a 5-star book now that I have gotten older is that something about it lingers with me in a positive way days after I have read it. This has even though it was both a little bit silly (which I am too) and predictable in spots.

This was a very enjoyable mystery. And I loved how there were little wedding ideas or crafts before each chapter! In fact, it made me wish I had read this book before my own wedding because there were several sweet treats and ideas for the guests that I wish I could have used! ;)

I really enjoyed the friendship between Adri and Lorea, from their banter to the way they genuinely cared about each other. I also enjoyed getting a little insight into a wedding shop, especially when I saw them deal with a bridezilla while working their regular wedding preparations in around her.

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed in Adri and her reaction to a certain someone (can’t share who! No spoilers!!), because I thought it was fairly obvious what kind of person he/she was, but since Adri was under a lot of stress at the time, I realized it was understandable. (If you’ve read it you’ll know who I’m talking about ;)

I definitely recommend this book, and I look forward to reading the other books in this series!

*I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.*
