Unhinged. Hate how it handles certain topics, like drug use, EDs, weight and appearance, mental illness, sex, age gaps, etc. Becca suffers greatly from not-like-other-girls-syndrome, and somehow Tasha does too? Admittedly, I didn't see the twist coming but I'm not entirely certain how well it works. The first half of the book was easy to get through, while the twist reveal and some stuff before it kind of dragged. Writing in the first half was rough, and the author has an insanely insensitive way of describing things that does not work as might've been intended. Later it got a bit better, but eh. Whatever, many thoughts, most of them negative. Somehow I got through this in only two sessions, though, so it couldn't have been that bad, huh? It's definitely entertaining to some extent. Honestly, it reminds me of pretty little liars, and considering I feel very nostalgic about that, maybe that's what drew me in despite its flaws.
