I had difficulty rating this one for reasons unknown. (Ooo I think im the first one!)

I thoroughly enjoyed this random book gifted by my mum.

It's a lovely quick read, with humour, brilliant characters and a lovely little love story.

I wish that there was more of Ralphie and Caspian together...I feel like they'd be an hilarious combo.

This managed to be cheesy without being cringey which is a difficult thing to achieve.

I would have preferred less 'school' stuff. I wasn't a fan of school when I was there, so I don't need a reminder of how crap it was now I'm an adult.

An interesting point to note is im not quite sure who the audience for this book is supposed to be? The bad language and references seem geared to adults, but the cosy horror side geared to children...A bit confusing. Luckily, I don't care about such things!

Overall, a fun read...I actually wish it was even more weird and wonderful (some of the bleak marriage parts were a bit of a mood killer) Would recommend.
