Damn. This book was a ride! I'm pretty sure I was close to having an anxiety-induced heart attack the whole time I was reading. This book was SO good! Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. So much happens in this book that I think I'm going to need a reread of the whole series before too long to put everything together.
This. Was. So. Good. I couldn't put it down! The puzzle pieces of the overarching plot are slowly coming together and we finally get some answers and clarification to some important things. As to be expected, quite a lot happens in this book. However, it never felt overwhelming or frantic. Hailey does a great job with pacing and making sure that there are some tender moments between Patrick and Jono to break up the excitement and action. I also want to note that while there are quite a few side characters, they are all unique and interesting and I want to know more about all of them.
The biggest reason to read this series? Patrick and Jono! I adore them! Hailey writes the best romantic relationships. They are solid and full of love, and all the drama in her books is external to the relationship. There are a lot of sweet moments between Patrick and Jono in this book.
The other big reason to read this series is Wade. He's simply amazing.
I seriously can't wait for the next book. It's out in the Fall, so time to exercise some patience!
