I love Kinsella's character the Shopaholic. I think it is because I can totally relate on what I hope to be a much smaller scale! :) This is my favorite "chick lit" series. I laughed out loud through many of the books. I own this one and have read it several times, especially when I just want something fun and lighthearted to read.

Good Grief, I couldn't even read the whole thing!! I made it to chapter 10, gave up and read the last chapter to find out what happens. I'll be giving the book away as soon as I find someone who wants it. I don't know whether it was the writing style or the character who put me off the most but I won't be reading any more of this authors books.
Very quirky and fun for a book about crippling debt and pathological lying. I enjoyed this read a lot more than I expected!

It was a very funny book honestly, perhaps the funniest book I’ve ever read. Becky was so delulu, the amount of times this girl just gets a random thought and then build up a whole fantasy around that thought 🤯 If I drank every time she had her delulu fantasies I would have been sooo drunk at the end of the book, I probably would need to get my stomach pumped.
Nevertheless, that was actually what made this book so great. You really got into the mindset of someone’s addiction and it was quite nice to see how long time it takes to actually make some progress and try to change. I won’t lie, there where a couple of times when I got so annoyed at Becky and just want to slap some sense into her, but still a very enjoyable read 😌 I’m looking forward to this very looooong book series where we will follow her life for like 10 + years 🤩
