an entire scene where the fmc is making fun of a guy for waiting for marriage to have sex. gross.
Fun little romp. This novel’s like Bridget Jones’s slightly less impressive younger sister.

A hilarious start to the Shopaholic series; I am good and hooked now. Kinsella's usual wit and storytelling skills shine through this book as usual - I can't wait to pick up the second book!
this was a very cute book. easy read. I found it humorous and entertaining. can't wait to see the movie.
The MC, though she changed in the end was just too annoying. Also, I felt like the author didn't expand on why she's a shopaholic as much as I wanted to.
The first installment of the Shopaholic series. While a good read, it did stress me out. I can't believe anyone could be that clueless about finance.
3 stars.
This book was super fun and quick to read; it was exactly what I was looking for. That being said, this book is just fun. I didn't really care for any of the characters (not that many of them were a main focus, this book was mainly about Rebecca), and I had a couple issues with Rebecca. She could be quite annoying sometimes, and there were many instances where she frustrated me so much with the absolutely ridiculous predicaments she brought upon herself. There was even a point around the middle of this book that I wanted to stop reading, but I pushed through and Rebecca started to bother me less and less as the book progressed. Overall, a cute, fun read. It's perfect if you just want to relax and pick up a light read!

I read this years ago, and since I have all of Kinsella's books in my Kindle library (and needing to read them), I decided to read the first one again, before reading the ones I haven't read. Although, I don't have the compulsion to buy clothes, etc., as the main character Rebecca Bloomwood, I can relate when it comes to book buying. I have to have the latest Sanderson or Lee, or Chernow, with no regard to cost.
It took me a bit to get back into the book, but in the end, I am glad I read this because it has lots of humor, and the bank correspondence is just perfect.
