Although very interesting and creepy, I didn’t feel this novella lent anything to the Dark Materials or Lyra story.

(This is literally about 25 pages so I toyed with not counting it toward my book challenge, but I've beaten it by far already so who cares.) Creepy and featuring aspects of Lyra's world, so what's not to love?
