This was a heavy book. It dealt with many difficult topics. I didn’t necessarily look forward to picking it up for that reason. . . With that being said, it was well written, interesting, and an important read. I enjoyed discussing it with my sisters and I’m very glad that I read it. 4 stars.

This was a good story but with a rushed and unsatisfying ending. I'd still read it again b/c I loved watching the people grow, I just wish that it either ended better or was the first in a duo to finish it properly.
